Ruth Wilkinson grew up the oldest girl in a large family on a small farm. Which lead to her learning all sorts of skills that either nobody else was old enough for, or nobody else wanted to do and most of which she's never used since.

One thing she didn't learn is to play the piano. That had to wait 'til she was 35. Since then she's been learning, singing and writing songs for anybody polite enough to ask.

She grew up singing in churches, until a pastor told her she should be singing torch songs. So she learned some. Since then everything she sings ends up sounding bluesy. Not sure why.

She sings songs she likes, about life, the universe and everything and blogs at sgworship.blogspot.com, and is always on the lookout for the next adventure.
